While not quite a household name, the city of Plano, Texas is one of the most beloved in the state. It’s located just half an hour out from Dallas, making it a great hub for a more all-encompassing Texas visit. The city itself has plenty to offer on its own of course. 1 – Art Centre Of Plano
The Art Centre Of Plano (which is located on 901 18th Street) is a completely non-profit exhibit for amazing artwork in the historic downtown area. It is located in what was once a Victorian era mansion and also a notable furniture supplier later down the line. If you’re into independent art and exploring the raw creativity of artists that are truly passionate about their work, you’re going to find a lot to love as you stroll through. 2 – The Shops At Legacy
Located on 5741 Legacy Drive (Suite 315), The Shops At Legacy is a very modern town center that has gorgeous tree-filled streets, well designed architecture, and plenty of great eateries, bars, coffee houses, boutiques, and entertainment to take in. This is one of the best tourist-friendly spots in the entire town. It has all the creature comforts you could want and then some.
3 – Pinstack
There’s something to be said for a town with a great bowling alley! Pinstack is that and so much more. Located on 6205 Dallas Parkway, Pinstack offers up 28 bowling lanes, a great gourmet restaurant, laser tag, high ropes, video games, and plenty more. If you want to feel like a kid again, this is the place to go!
